Although I appear to be pura gringa, I am actually fluent in Spanish! One of my undergraduate degrees is in Spanish Language & Culture, and after college, I spent a year doing foreign mission work in Honduras. After that, I worked for several years in the Hispanic Ministry Office at the local chancery and gained experience translating sacramental records, homilies, and diocesan documents.
